Have You Tried this Game in Your Classroom?
So, I recently learned about a new game. It’s called Blooket. Wow, it’s a gamechanger! I have my other favorites like GIMKIT and QUIZLET LIVE. This one is right up there, in my opinion. My students love it!
Blooket has various modes to play…some are available in the FREE version and others are available with the PLUS option (meaning you pay). Whether you choose the FREE version or choose to shell out some bucks for the upgraded version, you won’t be disappointed.
You can create your own sets to use for review, discover (and duplicate) ones from other teachers, or quickly import sets from Quizlet. It’s super easy to create review sets. TCEA Rocks
I feel blessed to have just attended my first TCEA conference. Due to COVID, it was virtual but still such a wonderful learning experience. I took away a lot of “golden nuggets” and have been implementing some of those in my classroom. Here are are few of my favorites:
- Blooket.com (my students are loving this new game).
- Gimkit (I knew about this one; my students always enjoy playing this.
- Google Jamboard (this is totally FREE) – just used this in my classroom to reflect on what students learned during Genius Hour.
- Whiteboard.chat
- Google Experiments (I didn’t even know Google had a section like this).
- WordWall.net https://wordwall.net/
